It is great having an iPad to carry with you everywhere you go. Do you need to check your email while you are out? Grab your tablet computer and get after it.
When it stops working, on the other hand, it can feel like your entire digital world has quit turning, but don’t worry. More often than not, it is an easy fix to start it back up.
Battery Drained, Now iPad is Dead?
It might seem like your iPad is dead, but most likely it isn’t. There are times when it has become unresponsive, it is because the battery drained down completely after it needed to be charged.
When this is the case, all you have to do is give it a few minutes to start working again. Leave it plugged into the wall and it will power back up on its own.
iPad Suddenly Stopped Working
If your iPad suddenly shut down and won’t turn back on, hold down the Home button (the round button below screen) and the power button (rectangle button on top of the iPad to the right) at the same time for 10 seconds or until the Apple logo appears. When you see the apple, you can release the buttons.
Sometimes it just needs a little boost to get going again.
It’s rare for the iPad to quit working completely, but when it does, a big dose of panic isn’t far behind. Hopefully, one of these two simple tricks will help. If not, you can contact Apple by phone or email at their website.
